Visa Fees
(Payable at the Embassy of Spain)

• Visa fees have to be paid after submitting the application and will not be refunded if the visa is not granted or the application is withdrawn.
• Visa fees can be paid at the Embassy of Spain every working Friday between 8:30am to 9:30am, only after submission of the application at the SVRC
• Visa fees are fixed in Euro.
• As from 1 January 2007, the Schengen visa handling fee will amount to Euro 60 and only payable in Ghanaian Cedis (to the administrative rate of exchange of the Embassy of the Spain - the visa fees are therefore subject to change, without prior notice).

The following groups do not have to pay the visa fees

• Children under six years of age
• Pupils, (post graduate) students and accompanying teachers on study or educational trips and
• Scientists that pursue specific research projects in one or more Schengen partner states.
  

Please note that satisfactory proof will have to be submitted to establish that one of the above exemptions applies.

VFS Handling Charge is Ghanaian 18.60 GHc and payable at the SVRC.
